Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) or Online Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (OCEMS) are mandated by CPCB for industries with boilers, kilns, furnaces, and combustion stacks. CEMS instruments measure pollutant concentrations in flue gases in real time — and this data must be transmitted directly to CPCB/SPCB portals via a certified data logger.

    We assess your stack dimensions, flue gas characteristics, operating temperature ranges, existing analyzer installations (if any), and required CPCB parameter set — before recommending instruments.

  2. Analyzer selection and supply

    GPMSTech sources and integrates stack analyzers suited to your flue gas conditions — whether extractive or in-situ systems — from manufacturers whose instruments carry NPL verification and meet CPCB/SPCB CEMS acceptance criteria. NPL certificates are held by the respective manufacturers.

  3. Envitrace logger installation

    The Envitrace CEMS logger connects to analyzers via Modbus, 4–20 mA, RS-485, or serial interfaces, validates and timestamps readings, buffers data locally, and maintains a complete audit trail.

  4. CPCB/SPCB direct API push

A: Extractive CEMS draw a flue gas sample from the stack, condition it (remove moisture, particulates), and analyse it in an instrument cabinet. In-situ CEMS measure directly in the flue gas stream without sampling. The right approach depends on flue gas temperature, moisture, dust loading, and the parameters required.
